  Being a very good customer ($4000 at-least per month), I was quite disappointed at the staff and service that was provided to me. I usually start my night with a nice scotch before I hit the tables.Over the weekend,the staff was quite rude in their dealings at the bar and restaurant and not very accommodating. They did not appreciate their job and completely changed my mood prior to my betting. The place was also quite filthy. I will never return to this casino, and will take my money elsewhere. Good luck to those who do not care about service.

  Not a big casion but it was nice and in a nice area. I went on Saturday and the lowest min on blackjack was 15 dollars, and the poker area was quite busy. There were slots available. Staff was friendly. The bar was decent and had one craft beer which was local or from ajax. They had a buffet but I didn't try it. I'd go again if I was in the area and wanted to gamble.

  Had the $20 Friday and Saturday night buffet ... It was delicious. Lots of fresh food choices. Good variety of desserts and salads.

  The Great Blue Heron Casino is very low key not like other large busy casinos that I've been to. Getting to the casino on Scugog Island is easy and on what is basically a relaxing country road. People at the casino are friendly and I often chat with "neighbours" while at slot machines. The staff is also friendly and helpful and "jackpot" payouts by them is usually quick and personal! A very good buffet lunch too. A nice place to visit. Also check out nearby Port Perry, you'll enjoy that as well.

  One of the worst casinos I've ever been to in my life. The poker tables are a joke. It takes a person 4-5 hours of waiting for a poker seat. There are 10 poker tables in the poker room and on the weekends they only have 4 out of 10 going at any given time. This casino's dealers and management are at the pinnacle of unprofessionalism. A lot of management personnel simply don't pay any heed to any complaints and are indifferent to their clients. Stay away from this absolutely horrid casino and staff. Extremely rude staff and the environment itself is extremely unwelcoming and poor. Easily not one of the worst but THE ABSOLUTE WORST CASINO hands down in the world.
